1 August 2015

Springer Maschinenfabrik AG, Friesach (Austria), and Novoeniseisky LKhK (Krasnoyarsk region) have signed a major contract on delivery of Log Sorting and Green Sorting equipment. The investment will make Novoeniseisky LPK one of the biggest sawmills in Russia with capacity reaching 500 000 m3 of finished materials.

Both lines will run at high capacity with state-of-the-art technology. The Log Sorting annual capacity will be 1,1 mln m3 with a max speed of 200 m/min. It is equipped with the latest SPRINGER innovations such as Screw Feeding technology. The Green Sorting will also be a high speed line with a capacity of 200 pcs/min, with high speed stacking and automatic stick handling system.

Timo Springer, SPRINGER CEO, comments: ”This contract proves SPRINGER’s continuous success for high speed line installations in Russia.” Martin Hermansson from Novoeniseisky LKhK says: “This installation elevates our mill to be one of the top sawmills in Russia. Because of the mill’s need for high capacity production, selecting SPRINGER as a supplier was a very natural choice.”

Installation starts this year, with full capacity to be reached summer 2016.
