System for Cut Optimization for Karelian Wood Company

System of cut optimization was introduced at the sawmill Karelian Wood Company (previously Swedwood Karelia).
The brain of the system is OptiSaw® program. The source of data is VEKTOR 3D® . To determine the optimal angle the system uses method of mathematical modeling of sawing process with subsequent analysis of virtual results.
System features:
- Can be used to optimize a few sawing patterns at once
- High speed of computation allows to saw logs virtually by hundreds variants and choose the optimum one
- The optimization process is visual and presented in real time
- Additional turn modes: by sweep or optimization angle
